Don't Forget Me
I used to think so much about the future. Back when I was younger, imagining what I could be someday always make me giddy. I mean, how hard can it be? The future is always something to look forward to. It's always exciting. Until of course you grow up. This may be a little embarrassing but considering my forgetful nature, I'm going to take this opportunity to remind myself in the future that once upon a time, there was a version of me that wasn't so jaded. Dear Maris, In five years, you'll be be fine. You're going to be just as happy or maybe even more. Your love for corny jokes shall remain for life and maybe...just maybe you will be a meme queen or a rapper just like you've always dreamed of (secretly, of course).
